Me and a good friend are taking our dads on a WY Antelope hunt this year. It’s been on my dads bucket list for a long time and this year we committed to doing it. Drew Unit 17 in Wyoming- I know it’s mostly a private land show, but just curious who has hunted it, and what your thoughts on it were afterwards, I guess just more or less what to expect, and how much success you guys have had there. Not looking for anyone’s honey hole, but wouldn’t turn down landowner names and phone numbers to contact either. Thanks in advance

It can be a tough unit to hunt due to being mostly private. The chunks of public are in varying stages of oil and gas development.

Back in 2018, they were conducting a geoscience survey in the unit during opening week. As you can imagine, this impacted the hunting very heavily.

Get there a couple days early so you can scout and make it count on opening morning.
