Wyoming 2019 Rifle Season Opener

Hey guys, is it reasonable to assume that the season opener will likely be October 1 for the vast majority of the units, as it was for 2018? Just found out my daughter is likely to get married this fall and am trying to do some advance planning on hunt dates and stuff, to avoid schedule conflicts.

I think most open in Sept but that may just be the areas we usually hunt.
dates and numbers will come out in April.

They have opening dates listed already. If you go to the WGFD website and click on "Hunting in Wyoming" Then go to the "Dates and Deadlines Booklet."

Opening dates do not change very often, however closing dates can change from year to year.

Thanks for the responses. I see the tentative dates listed in the Hunt Planner. I'll keep an eye out for the finalized dates in April.

I can tell you the unit i hunted the last 2 years started on Oct 1 both years... which was the tentative date that was listed when i applied. So, it didnt seem to change and day of the week didnt matter (whereas in Ohio whitetail season starts on a saturday in sept and ends on a sun in jan/feb)
