What do you think the chances are of harvesting a bull during the first week of the season in the elk refuge?
What do you think the chances are of harvesting a cow during the first week of the season in the elk refuge?

I was camped on the border of the refuge just outside of Jackson last month and spent a week hiking and driving the gravel roads in the area. I didn't see one elk. I believe that the refuge is their winter home. Unless you plan on hunting that area very late in the year I dont think your chance of getting a bull or cow is very high.
