First Mule deer hunt DYI. I would love to hear things to expect, and things to prepare for. We will be staying in a tent for rifle season mid October. Any advice would be great.

Mid October I would plan for all weather. We usually always get a storm around then that dumps a foot of snow in the low lands. Last year I had two feet at the house and four feet at the cabin.

Was in M last year last two weeks in Oct. had temps ranging from 70 down to teens. snow a couple inches while we were there. so prepare for swings in temp.where you travelin from? feel free to PM me let me know what you have been looking at Ill try and give you a few tips that we found while out there.
