Wyoming to discuss transferable tags

Are you in favor of making wyoming land owner tags transferable.

If as mentioned that the LO tags come out of the overall tag numbers this could have very negative effects on NR tag numbers in the draws. Once these tags have real $$ value LOs will want every tag they can get their hands on. There are probably LOs now eligible for tags that they dont go after because there is no value in them. Once they can be sold you will have everyone that can get their hands on a LO tag after them.

I would think LO are going to be resident ranchers that could get a few but you are correct it could reduce chances of drawing but it also could give NR a better chance if they are willing to pay, don’t forget, this is for trophy hunting, not subsistence living. There would be plenty of opportunities to hunt great units as BuzzH would say on Gen tags.

Doubt it would be the same system in NM, maybe a hybrid of CO.

I'm against it because it's pretty much the same as guaranteed tags to outfitters, especially since alot of landowners are leasing their places.
