As of now, we have it narrowed down to unit 73 or 98.
I’m waiting for calls back from the biologists for more information.
73 has plenty of space to get away from others. And ample doe tags so we can go after them after our buck tags are filled.
But 98 is kinda nice since we are driving over from Oregon. Smaller area so less area to hunt, but less tags.

If anyone has hunted these two units and want to share opinions, it would be great.
We are planning on bringing a tent, but if the weather doesn’t cooperate, we’ll head to the nearest motel.

The nice thing about 73 is that it’s right next to Casper. You can get pretty much anything you need there including game processing if you’re so inclined. Big area with lots of public land. I don’t really know anything about 98, so I can’t comment much on it, but it would definitely be a shorter drive for you.

Having hunted 73 a couple of times, I would look to 98. 73 was a busy place when we have been there.
