I’ve been looking at the weather in WY because of an up coming archery hunt. I know hunting water is tough if it’s been a wet year. So far, it’s looking like it’s been a very wet spring/summer in north central WY. Anyone else adjusting plans based on this? I had plans for a blind over a waterhole hunt. Now it’s looking that may not be productive.

If you can find an isolated water source and it dries out you could be ok. There is a lot of water and if the antelope have choices it can be tough. Best to devise a way to conceal your blind if you plan to set on a water source antelope are using. If they are habituated to a hole and can't tell your blind is there, it can still be good. Best come with a few other tricks up your sleeve, such as spot and stalk and decoys.

They are very "regular". I think folks limit themselves hunting water out of a blind but they will most likely see you draw otherwise.

Been a wet year for sure, should make for healthy animals. Unless you have a different plan, stick w the original. Its easy to talk yourself out of a well made plan, imo.
