Xero A1i illegal in States

If the A1i has the option of fixed pins without using rangefinder why would that be illegal?

Don't you think you should be asking this of the fish and game in the state your planning to hunt?
I can see more states moving towards clarifying thier rules to out law this sight in the future.

I'm not familiar with the sight, but if it has batteries, that is why it's illegal in CO...
