How are you attaching a sling to your XLR Element 3.0? I bought the M-Lock sling attachments but they don’t seem to fit in the a lot of the buttstock and it doesn’t seem to allow me to run the bag rider.

Stefen,
We recommend using quick-detach slings on chassis for a few reasons. The bag rider you have on the buttstock has flush cup QD sockets machined into the backer. So you have an access point for a push-button adapter on each side. All you would need is a flush cup MLOK adapter on the forend. This way the sling is run off the 3 or 9 O'Clock position. which will be more ergonomic having the pistol grip, magazine, bipod etc off to the side and not hitting you in the back/shoulder.

If you do not care to convert to a push-button quick detach sling system and want to run a traditional swivel sling that can be done with the MLOK swivel adapters you purchased. Now when you say it does not fit the MLOK slot on the carbon buttstock is it the slot itself, or are you saying you can't use that and the bag rider at the same time?
Feel free to call us in regards to any of this so we can go over all the options to best suit your needs.

Ill try the quick release when they're back in stock. I didn't realize the bag rider would work that way. It didn't fit because the alan screws just weren't long enough.

Is the bag rider the only way to QD on the CF stock? I’ve been wondering the same. Been on the notify list for bag rider for a few months with no luck.
Thx!

The slots cut into the carbon stock are supposed to be MLOK slots. So an MLOK QD adapter should be able to mount to them. The carbon buttstock supplier is supposed to be keeping them within MLOk spec, but could require slight modification or change of hardware if mounting is an issue.
We highly recommend the bag rider because it grants access to a QD sling but also aids in shoot-ability with bag surface area and thumb hook design.

Just received more backers for the bag rider back from anodizing today, so they will be in stock online in a few minutes.
