I guess Christmas came early this year. Received my xmid pro 2 today as I was about to head out to the range. Did a quick pitch and here are my initial thoughts:
- It sets up just as easy as the previous versions. Stake the outer corners in a rectangle and throw your poles in and you're done.
- This thing is light. 20.8 oz for the tent and stuff sack. 2.5 oz for 6 stakes and some extra guyline in a small stuff sack.
- The bathtub floor is more structured than the original 1p or 2p.
- The magnetic toggles to hold the doors open are an improvement over the previous toggles.
- Build quality seems very high. This is my first DCF tent so I can't compare against others.
- Did I say this thing is light?
