Interesting conclusion. Heading out after does and fawns in a few weeks. Hope to be able to eviscerate, remove the glands and lower legs and pack the cavity with ice to cool them quickly. If not too hot was planning to leave the hides on.

I wouldn't leave the hide on an antelope, unless it is very cold and you are only taking it a few miles to the processor. The side its laying on will start to spoil quickly. That hair is a very good insulator.

Very interesting read. I feel like more people who dislike antelope meat should read this. Then again I want more antelope for myself lol.
