had a Columbia jacket a few weeks ago with i think event.if not its very similar.works great until you put any pressure on it like from a pack or in my case just a bino harness.then it soaks right through.for a 400$ coat i shouldn't get wet through it no matter whats pressed up against it.i got my money back.the stuff is lite but it has its trade offs.where i hunt it rains to much to have a jacket that leaks

I haven't heard anything about Columbia running eVent in any of their gear, but I have had my REI eVent jacket with a heavy pack in a downpour without a leak one. I am confident in its waterproofing.

I've had the same luck with my Kuiu in heavy rain and slept in a few down pores with my Event bivy sacks and no leaking yet.

eVent does not make anything in camo but it can be printed. Westcomb made some camo eVent jackets for Japan and they Retailed for $650

eVent, Neoshell, C-Change and Toray are all good fabrics!
I believe Integral Designs is one of few that use eVent in Tents and stuff.
