New to the forum, seems like a great community. I have read through a lot of good threads over the years so I figured I should become a member.

I have a shot at getting these binos for close to 1000 bucks. The guy wants them gone and they look to be in great shape, no lens scratches or anything like that. For being 9 years old I'd say they're as good as they can get.

I have always been obsessed with making SLC's my forever bino and likely still will, but also have looked through victory's before and they, of course, are fantastic too. So just curious what others would say as I know this model has been discontinued and is older.

Zeiss's 'FL' series are among some of the finest, brightest glass ever made.
The newer SLC HD would be crisper edge to edge, but likely no more bright.

Based on scratch-free fine condition: $850-$950 great buy, $950-$1050 solid buy $1150-$1200 and up getting close to pre-owned (excellent cond) market.

Good info right there. I know they're great binos at a great price but I think the "would if" factor would continue to come up if I didn't go the SLC HD route. There's just something about swaros!
