Zeiss V4 4-16 mounting length

I have searched a bunch of threads and spec sheets and I cannot find the mounting length (or whatever you call the maximum length between the outsides of the rings) for a Zeiss V4 4-16x44. Would any of you happen to know that measurement? It looks like it would be tight on a Remington 700 long action with Talleys. Thanks!

Just measured mine. I would call it 5 1/4” just to be safe. I have it in DNZ mounts with plenty of room

Yep you’ll need offset talleys for it to fit a 700 LA.

@Lxhuntinpa and @CApighunter, thanks for the responses! I have the Talley extended mounts on another rifle so I will check to see how much wiggle room I would have should I order a V4.

These are the Talley extended mounts on a Leupold VX-6. I come up with 4 11/16” between the outsides of the rings so I should be fine with the V4.

Mine fit just barely with Talley extended lows on a LA 700
