New guy to the forum

I have lurked on Rokslide for years mostly reading gear reviews but just now got around to joining up. I didn't even know there was a trad archery forum on here until today. I am a diehard longbow shooter who loves to make and use his own gear. I live in southwest Missouri near Springfield and own the family farm in south-central Missouri where I do most of my hunting. I look forward to reading some good stuff here!

Thanks, all! The bow I killed that tom with is a Tall Timbers takedown longbow made by my friend, Don Orrell. It is 58" long and pulls 55#@28". I made the quiver myself. I do a lot of leather work and finally got around to making something for myself.
