Anyone using these shafts? I like the weight for building a high FOC arrow. But at only 5.9 GPI for a 400 it has me worried that they'll break easy.

Planning on using the HIT inserts with the Tuffhead double footing. So that will beef up the front end.

But with just under 500 up front I'll hit 30% FOC according to Gold Tips calculator.

Would I be better going to the regular RIP with the same footing?

Why don't you look at some of the Arrow Dynamics PTP arrows? Standard components up front, tapered shaft, g nock in the back. Easy to tune and gpi is low so you can get good FOC. Made in America to boot.
