Tagging. Was really leaning towards the z5 to put on a m92. 280ai or 7mm, was hoping to get 650-700yds out of the scope, do-able?

All Items show delivered. I'll try to get everything picked up and put together this week. Then I will break in and then start "punishing" the scope. Anyone want to see a specific test?

I have a Z5 3.5-18x44 on a light 300 win mag. I just got it last year and probably only have 100-150rds through it, but no issues with the turret so far. I don't plan to shoot extreme range with it and it's just a hunting rifle so maybe I will be ok. For what Swaro charges I'd hope it lasts.

Yes. I have the one on my 300 win mag set up with a turret for a 180gr Nosler Accubond at 2956fps and it has the 650yd mark plus 3 more clicks on the dial. A reasonably high BC 7mm bullet at similar velocity should match or better that.

Only reason I sold my Z3 was because of only one full rotation of the turret. I never had any issues with it dialing correctly but was told by a few long range guys here that it would bite me in the ass at some point, for 6oz more I went to a Nightforce 3-10x42.

I just did the exact same thing for the same reasons.

I think the NF 3-10 is a sleeper and very underrated.

I really wish NF would come out with something in the 3-15 or 4-16 range with a 42 or 44 mm objective that weights less the 26 oz. The size and weight of the smaller NF scopes is great but 10x doesn't cut it for me personally.
