    Any good crispi leads

One option to consider is using a shoe stretcher to widen the toe box area of the boot. I got one of these and have had good luck gaining some width in leather boots and shoes for my wide feet. Game changer for me! FootFitter Heavy-Duty Premium Boot Width Stretcher Set – Stretch Spray & Boot...

I'm no expert in bear defense rounds...but I purchased some of these heavy hard cast rounds. And they pack a punch! I have ordered straight from Buffalo Bore with good customer service and quick shipping multiple times. https://www.buffalobore.com/index.php?l=product_list&c=162 Sent from my...

    Hunting with Migraines

I've been "managing" migraines for 30+ years. Like many others, stress and lack of sleep contribute to onset. Funky flickering indoor lights, looking at white paper in bright outdoor sunlight, Mr. Pibb soda (yes, really), and too much chocolate or certain brand of sunflower seeds are some...

Kifaru fitting and torso length help

Shoulder strap length looks good to me. Frame looks like it fits the contour of your back profile nicely too. How did it feel?

What is the most comfortable backpack you have ever worn?

Love it! Assuming you are limiting responses to backpack hunting category of backpacks, for me it is the Kifaru duplex hunter with carbon arrow stays. Sticks to my back and hips like it was made for me.

    Ultralight Glassing pad/pillow/shooting bag

I had never even considered packing something like this in on a BP hunt. I assumed they would be too heavy to justify. But I'm interested. Cool idea.

Being charged by a wounded black bear

This story makes me re-think the times I've crawled around and through the bushes on my hands and knees looking for blood/sign while tracking a wounded bear.

For those who run a reckoning...

I also run the large pouch on top with no lid. In day hunt mode with the center compressions tightened down you can still access the open side pockets easily. Love how I can jam my bugle in one side and tripod and spotter in the other. I told myself I'd buy the guide lid when I ran out of...

    2015 Silverado tire chain options

That's the solution I went with last year. Used 1 inch spacers so I didn't have to grind down the lug bolts on my '13 F150. Pulled them off as soon as my late season hunt was over. It gave me plenty of room for running heavy v-bar chains. Sent from my XT1585 using Tapatalk
