    I tried the Lowa Tibets, the Salewa Un Vulturs, and finally settled on the Salewa Rapaces. The initial fit is amazing! I will report back later as I get some time in them.

    buffalo Gnats

    I've had pretty good luck dealing with them with a thermacell, but it's not as effective for me with gnats as Skin so soft or bug soother. You have to apply it regularly, but it seems to help quite a bit. It's also really easy to come by here in Iowa.

    Favorite lens setup for Sony mirrorless (Alpha Series) for video & stills

    For a pretty decent fast prime, the 85mm 1.8 gets a lot of really great reviews. If you want something a little bit wider, the 55mm 1.8 is still considered one of the sharpest lenses for the Sony system. Like everyone above, I'm going to be order the A7III too.
