    RAB Microlight but It’s getting long in tooth. The new FL Brooks has slightly higher fill power so I think that’ll be my replacement. I’ve been really happy with the warmth of the “ultralight” down puffy.

    Not happy with my level of soreness. . I struggled to hold my 7 week old baby and walk him up and down the stairs... taking a rest day today. Some simple foam roller pain and walk outside. Trying to get the blood flowing. Back in for day 3 tomorrow.

    Would pitching in a modified A-frame then folding the forward stake points in be enough coverage? Reference the photos in post #9 of this thread? Makes for a pretty darn secure shelter.

The whole SO team all knew I loved the DST (in addition to all the other SO stuff I own)... so they asked if I wouldn’t mind testing something new...

    I like the tipi because of the wind resistance and snow shedding ability. Snows in the PacNW tend to be heaevy and wet. . .the kind of 3" "Dusting" that can crush shelter structures. The steeper walls of the tipi really keep the structure sound. But don't think I don't eye that Redcliff often...
