    Beeman R7. Incredible accuracy, light, easy to caulk, will put a pellet clean through a starling at 35 yds or a pigeon at 20, relatively safer for the neighborhood. 700 pfs is plenty to knock rats at 40 plus yds. You can shoot them in the head every time with the r7.

    Buying my last rifle. Help me decide.

    My Proof Elevation Has a Zermatt Bighorn Origin action. It's a 90-degree throw. I'd probably prefer a lower degree of throw, but it's a non issue with the Teijicon Credo scope I have mounted. I don't know anything about the Proof Glacier except that it costs more than 2x what my Elevation cost.

    180 Grain Fusion punchef through, .4 inch stainlets at 400 yds. Softpoints from my 270 barely left a mark.
