Whole lot of dirt roads that can get pretty muddy in wet weather. Charleston and Oneill roads should be fairly good. There are some streams around but that is where a lot of guys camp.
Elk do move around that time of year depending on weather. Some head to south part and some head to Idaho. If...
I have a RZRs on its second set of Maxxis Bighorns. I prefer the originals as opposed to the 2.0s.
Have never had flat even running thru lava rock and cactus.
This year in Nevada, I saw one trailing a rag horn elk. Tried to get a shot at it, but it stopped directly behind a tree.
Another group killed one a 15 yards that was trailing them.
Another guy saw 2 that were fighting while he was trailing a herd of elk.
Nevada has a lot of lions!

Might try in Jarbidge and see if there any locals who might be interested.
Good luck on the hunt, I have a muzzleloader tag for Sept.1 to the 16th and will be interested to hear how you did.
Not real familiar with those units, but might want to try and call the biologist in Tonopah.
Also, don't be afraid to look higher. I have seen antelope here as high as 9,000 feet. A lot of guys tend to concentrate at the lower altitudes and miss a lot of critters.
Good luck!
I put a Williams peep on my Omega and am very happy with it. Might want to think about a front globe sight as well. There is a how to article on Gohunt.
