    Ok plans changed. Got them jumping .025. They fit and cycle perfect in a m+ tikka mag. Loaded some up with staball 6.5 and some with varget.

    Good deal. Mine were delivered as well but I’m on dishwasher replacing replacing duty this evening. I’ve read that they like to be 20-30 thou off the lands so that’s where I was planning to start

    I’ve been trying to focus on keeping impact velocity over 1800. As long as it’s doing that I am comfortable. The 162 at achievable velocities seems like it will do that from further away than I intend to use this rifle

    I’ve seen a few videos on temp stability for it and it’s stable for a ball powder, but h4350 etc still has better stability

    Congrats on the bull. I’ve got a 150 tgk load that’s been awesome on whitetail and axis deer. But as a reloader I enjoy working up new loads. Flavor of the month this time is 162 in 7mm-08. Don’t want a 280, I just want to see what all I can do with it.

    Can’t speak to the others listed but I have the 6112/5160 on my tundra and have been very happy with them for the price. Next step for me is to dump the 20’s and move to 17’s.

    Quite a bit faster than I expected with varget. One of my all time favorite powders. Will definitely be working up some loads with it. Thanks for the feedback
