Switching to 8x32 Binoculars

My favorite combo to find and arrow stuff is 8x32 el and 12x50 Els off the pod. That said when I am only taking one glass it's my 10x42 SLC's

Man what a killer trio. I run El 8x32 and el 12x50 i love them both and they compliment each other perfectly.

i absolutely love my 8x32 much more than i thought i would. i just got back from a sheep hunt and they were just fine, didnt need anything else, if you need to look closer grab the spotter

Welcome to the 8x32 club! It's a growing group as guys realize how incredible some the glass has become in recent years. The 8x32 swarovisions are insanely crisp.
For a sheep or goat hunter, can't imagine why a guy would use anything else. One inevitably goes to a spotter anyway for final viewing...

I switched this year too. Found a good deal in used EL 8x32 and I'm happy with the move. I think they are absolutely perfect for archery elk. Light, one hand operation, and wide field of view in the timber. I am pairing with the small 50 vortex spotter for Glassing in more open areas. May go to 15x50 in a year or so, but so far I'm liking the combo.

For backpacking I love my 8x32 ELs. Many of our fathers hunted their entire lives with 7 power binoculars, and filled the freezer every year.

Of the 8x32 binos I've personally tried the EL'S were the best in low light, followed by the Cabelas Euro which tied with the Leupold 8x32 Mojave. All 3 were good enough to spot animals till past legal light.

I still have the Leupolds. I don't think they can be beat for the price right now. Though both the EL and the Euro have much nicer eyecups.
