    Boots for bad ankles

    I have a weak left ankle and was wanting a suggestion on boots that would give the most support. I'll be using them on an early season high country elk hunt in CO. I just want something to help prevent ankle sprain and I'm not really worried about the cost(within reason). Any suggestions?

    The past 2 years I've used water Purification Tablets and a filter water bottle in the high country. Are tablets necessary in high country streams?     Cold weather hammock

    Has anyone slept in a hammock worth Temps around 30? My hunting partner says he's taking a hammock with no underquilt, just his sleeping bag. Says he's gonna hang it low and build a berm around it to protect the bottom from wind.
