    RokStok

Looks fantastic. What did you tell them for the paint job? I asked for something similar

No luck for me yet. Ordered right away also but had requested a three color camo pattern. No word yet but I’m hoping soon

Any reason for TO84 over UM Tikka rings? (Apart from cost)

I’m in the same boat and agree. SM are fine and functional and I’ll keep the ones I have. But after using two sets of UM I’ll keep using them for all future Tikkas of mine that don’t need a 20MOA rail. UM seem to have better screws that are less prone to stripping. The recoil pin system...

    Tikka slam fire PSA

I double check mine from time to time... so far so good. I mostly leave them alone except for backing that trigger weight screw as much as possible as others have said. My only non factory trigger is the KRG trigger group… its been fantastic and so far has passed all the function and drop testing

ON THE FENCE ABOUT A TIKKA?

There are some pretty cool new models popping up… 20” threaded D18 profile barrels with cerakote. If I didn’t already have Tikkas coming out of my ears I’d pick up a 16” 223 and a 20” 6.5CM

    Maven RS1.2 2.5-15x44 new model

I believe that for sure. I’ve had that with a SWFA 3-15 and a T3X in 223. Just wondering it it was possibly an ejector issue, not flinging the spent shell hard enough. Or if your scope is pushed back like you said, maybe adjusting LOP would allow you to move the scope a bit to eliminate the...

    Maven RS1.2 2.5-15x44 new model

Interesting… I’ve got a 6CM Tikka with this scope in low rings and have no issues. Got a pic? Also… where do your casings eject normally? Mine end up a few feet to the side, probably around the 4 o’clock position

Suppressor covers - who's and why

They don’t move at all during shooting with is great and are designed to stay on the can. That said, I took mine off to weigh it and it only took a few seconds to loosen the straps and slide it off. Not a pain at all.. we are talking probably 10 seconds

Suppressor covers - who's and why

Bumping this just to provide another data point: I just weighed my can chap and it was 4.3oz on my scale. Keep in mind these are custom built for your can so they may differ slightly. Mines on an LPM Mach S (7” long with direct thread adapter, 1.74” diameter) Also this is my first cover but I...

    First Suppressor - recommendations

I’m just a dude, and the only one talking about Liberty Precision it seems (not being paid or associated with them). But I’ve been shooting the Mach S a ton the last few weeks and it’s great. It’s worth a look. It’s titanium, a bit under 10oz, and around 7” long with the direct thread)...

Long range scope of your choice for under $1,000?

There’s shims and washers for the non HD SWFAs… but I don’t know about for the HD models.

Long range scope of your choice for under $1,000?

Stoked to see these back in stock! I’ve never used the “2” version but always wanted one.

Long range scope of your choice for under $1,000?

I vote a used NF SHV F1 or SWFA 5-20. I’ve used those both a lot, they’ve been 100% reliable and retain zero. Both were found used for under 1000

    Howa Superlite 308win Field Evaluation

Why didn’t you ‘do your part?’ 😂 I’m interested to see how a second rifle does, and how this one does after being looked over. Seems like a rad lightweight rifle if it would function. Then again… there’s no guesswork with the rifles I shoot. They just work. And are accurate.

    RokStok

I’m just excited for the huge diet my rifles are getting. Between going to a Maven RS1.2 and the Rokstok I think I’ll shave 1.5 to 2lbs… which means with a suppressor I’m still lighter by a pound with what should be a better set up overall.

    Liberty Precision Mach Suppressor

Got out today to shoot more with the LPM Mach S. Last week I just got a quick zero and felt I was trending left a bit. So today I did a very deliberate 10 round group and then made my adjustments to zero. I don’t know if some cans negatively affect group size, but that doesn’t seem to be the...

    Maven RS1.2 2.5-15x44mm SHR-Mil Q&A

Mine is stiff but NOTHING compared to my SWFA 5-20. That thing was a pain especially in cold weather. So far the Maven has been great.

    Maven RS1.2 2.5-15x44mm SHR-Mil Q&A

Not sure if this is serious or not, but yes. I’ve shot to 1200. Field of view, reticle, clarity etc all worked well

    Maven RS1.2 2.5-15x44mm SHR-Mil Q&A

In my opinion, yes. No weird gaps. Fat outer posts. The .5 mil box around the center dot is super intuitive and easy to find. Plus it’s a few oz lighter. I’ve got an SHV and a 4-16 ATACR with the Mil R. They work just fine but the maven reticle is better

    Maven RS1.2 2.5-15x44mm SHR-Mil Q&A

@TheCougar I definitely understand your hesitation with Maven given the differing information on which scopes are good/pass and which ones don’t. As well as the relatively short history. But man… If it works it works. SWFA doesn’t care if they sell any scopes. Bushnell doesn’t seem to care...
