Description of the Brooks pack in this video HERE
I owned an Eberlestock Skycrane. It was really heavy, and not comfortable to carry with heavy loads.
I sold it and got a Seek Outside Brooks, which I love.
I have one. (have the full length version too.) It's fine for summer use. Not as comfortable as the neoair, but it's ok. Certainly better than the evazote foam pads I used when I started out camping. If you don't have "old bones" that ache in the morning, it's a good way to save some...

I've already got several wool tops I like a lot, so I resisted the urge to purchase it. I agree it looks very nice.
There's actually a couple of jackets, one more like a softshell, and one more like a jacket.
I like wool. It has great temperature regulation in both hot and cold climates, and tends to keep me comfortable across a broader range of temperatures than synthetics.
There are quite a few good wool options for base layers and torso. (My favorites are Voormi's amazing wool soft shell...
I've tried many. (All the most popular brands.) Outdoor Vision is my current favorite. Less bulky, less fiddly opening, closed design gives full protection from dust and precipitation.
Not a hunting company, but the Arcteryx Dually belay parka is designed for cold, wet conditions. I have one, and it is an excellent, extremely warm parka.
