Had a small super cub buzz a band of rams a buddy and I were watching. We had them in the spotter and were trying to determine if the lead ram was legal when he buzzed them low 4 times until he sent them running the opposite direction.

I haven’t seen or heard of the TSX shedding the petals like that. Didn’t have an issue with a 300gr TSX shedding petals on a brown bear at 8 steps this spring.

I killed a 9’ brownie with that exact bullet, 300gr TSX, 2 years ago. Shot was at 50 yards. Bullet didn’t pass through, and that bear soaked up every ounce of energy. He was dead less than 100 yards away.

The first week of may is when we typically have bears hit our baits for the first time. Our baits are low and I’m sure those bears aren’t traveling far. If you’re looking high, I’d try and give it a couple weeks.
