    whats peoples thoughts? shooting off tripod and bag? vs clipping into tripod? sitting around 12 -16 lbs for rifles? large tripods? i like the idea of shooting off a bag AND glassing off one on the tripod...but clipping in you can set it and forget it...the bag your rifle could fall over lol...

    stock pack vs kydex cheek riser

    What do you prefer and why? I am torn as I have both Kydex = weather-resistant, but have to drill holes stock pack = can keep spare ammo, nice and soft :) But it will get wet eventually in bad weather.

    What do you guys do? I am always worried someone is going to vandalise it more so then steal it. But either way.. are you usually just parked at a trailhead for a couple days? parked on the side of the logging road? do you leave a note? A case of beer? Set traps and trail cams?
