    I figured they would, but its really snug, and wont feed. I read another post where someone had the same issues, and ended up sanding down the inside of the mag to give it a little more room.

    I have 2 brand new (1 still in package) 5 round long action mags for Tikka. I bought them hoping to use with 300wsm after modifying my bolt stop. These mags won't work with 300wsm unless I sand down the inside of the mags. Decided to go a different route so I'll ship these for $75 for both.

    I've got a CTR 6.5 creedmoor that got a 24" Proof Stainless barrel in 7.5 twist and getting 2798fps with the 143's. Shoots lights out!

    I know this is an old thread but what velocities are you getting out of the Tikka with 200gr ELD-X? I'd like to try this load, but unsure with Tikka being 1:11 twist.

    That does help thank you. Did you have to have that barrel reamed for the 212's to work or all bone stock except for mags?

    Micus what velocities are you getting with the 212's? Just got a Tikka 300wsm and would love to run 212 ELD-X's but have been concerned on the 11" twist as well...

    Yeah if I keep the 300wsm it would be 1:8 or 1:9. Guess it makes sense to stick with the wsm. I do have lots of brass and 2 sets of dies already...

    By chance do you think he will be willing to trade for another 300wsm but in a weatherby vanguard? Its a heavier stainless rifle and has a muzzle break on it which greatly helps the recoil. I also installed a Timney Trigger. I can include a couple boxes of ammo loaded with 210 Berger vld's.
