I'm shooting flex-fletch vanes, not the vanes I can shot a shuttle t with no noise. I know it's the vents in the solid head. Thanks for all the feed back. Hopefully here in 6 weeks or so I'll stick a bear with one and I'll post up some pics.
Just got some of these and shot them. Group nice out to 60,the only bad thing is they are loud during flight. Just wondering if anyone has had an animal jump the arrow with these?
Lots and lots of hunters in there I don't even hunt it anymore, but there are spots that don't get hunted with good elk. I hunt unit one and hardly ever do I run into a hunter in the woods.
I would say the noise does if you are spot and stalk or running and gunning elk. I just got a timberline this last spring, love the pack but it is loud. I use a bison gear lemih pack fo when thing need to be quite and it works great. There is a time and place for each.
Just got a timberline a mounth or so ago. Seen some pics of Aron packing meat between the frame and bag, just wondering how you guys are doing that. Do you unhook the top of the bag from frame, and then put the meat in? Some pics would be cool showing how it's done. Thanks
