Thanks for the post 257. I did read that when I drew the tag. Time ran out and we headed back home yesterday. We had a great hunt and saw some awesome country. I would say overall the trip was a success. Cheers, fellas!

    Vernal UT Antlerless hunt

Hey Folks, Looking for some advice on the South slope Buckskin hills-Jensen antlerless hunt in Vernal Utah. My brother and I have been out here for five days so far and running out of time fast. We have only found a couple lone elk on private mine property and a massive group on thunder ranch...

Nice! That’s the review I was hoping for. I’m a member and almost bought both during the Memorial Day sale but didn’t. Missed out on like 200 bucks savings.

REI Magma 15 vs Kuiu super down pro 15

Thanks for the info. I was going to pair with the Thermarest Neoair womens pad. I’m only 5’7” and a side sleeper so it should be just about perfect. Not sure I want to spend the extra coin for the kuiu.

Has anyone used the REI and felt the need to upgrade to the Kuiu? Other than being super cool when you sleep in a Kuiu bag what would the...

    Mystery ranch discontinued veteran discount

Sounds like Mystery Ranch has canceled their veteran’s/military discount program… just in time for Memorial Day too. Has anyone else observed this? My sincerest Thank You to all veterans for your service!

    Neoair XLite Women's

I’m 5’7 and was thinking of getting one too. Do you hang over the pad at all when you sleep? I usually crunch up a bit when I sleep and figured it wouldn’t be an issue.

    Lightest bivy sack

I have a Borah and a OR bivy. The Borah is significantly lighter than the OR. I have the 90 weight one and it’s pretty solid. Packs down tiny and weighs almost nothing. Only recommendation is to use it with a drop cloth. Either a tent footprint or a sheet of tyvek.
