They aren't as soft as the First Lite short gaiters and they arent as stiff as a cordura , my impression is that they would be quieter than knee high gaiters but since I've never worn them in the field I can't say for sure . I believe the are made in China , they are covered by O.R."s Infinite...

Going nuts here , heading out to Idaho next Friday the 4th with a buddy , we have been planning on base camp and bivy out from there , got plan A , B , & C , now looks like we gotta come up with a few more plans , checking inciweb everyday , checking IF&G for closure boarders , hate last minute...
Pretty hard to find any info on the first rotomolded coolers , the only thing I could find was Pelican had smaller medical coolers out years ago , for organ transport , and those were the basis for today's larger coolers . Don't know if that's true or not but seems plausible . Yeti coolers are...
I emailed them on shipping dates , here is their reply ;
"- If your reservation was made in July you can expect to receive your cooler by October 31, 2015;
- If your reservation was made in August you can expect to receive your cooler by November 30, 2015."
The Obtronics I use are made with Panasonic cells , they are rated for 500 cycles , don't think I'd live long enough to test that , I've charged them 4 times in the last year , they last a long time per charge .
The Exo 3500 is a nice pack , I had an Icon 5200 , I think the Exo is a bit more rugged than the Icon , both bag and frame , fit me better and carries loads better . Meat shelf and hip belt pouches would be my suggestion on accessories to start with , although the slurpee stalker is great for...
The Cajun ranch chicken salad and the Texas mesquite chicken salad from Packit Gourmet are excellent , and cold water mix , easy prep , have not tried any of their other meals but will soon .
Yes , the belts are easily changed if you need to go up or down a size , i just went from large to medium with mine . There were some good improvements from the 2014 version to the 2015 version , the floating lid (on the 3500) , slight changes in the belt , material for the lining in the bag ...
Not that I am aware of , when they first started offering packs early last year I think they had $50 off pre orders but after that regular price . Usually a product that has a demand like the Exo packs and the quality and reviews to back it up rarely goes on sale . I've seen a few used Exo's go...
I can only comment on their Texas mesquite Chicken Salad and the Cajun Chicken Salad , I saw it mentioned in a thread here and got a few of them to try out , the packaging is nice and tight/compact , from the dates on the tags it looks like they package it up when you order it , they shipped...
Ok , I've got an UA pullover hoodie in the full length pocket and 50" of 3/8 nylon rope , in the stretch pocket on bottom I have a small pullout with hat , gloves , neck gaitor , facemask and a 16 oz nalgene bottle , could get a bigger bottle in there yet than the 16 oz I had on hand , hope this...
They'll still work fine , I've had the full length side pockets full and the stretch pockets still have stretch to them and work fine , I'll try to remember to get a pic posted later
Thanks for posting this , never heard of them before . Got the Cajun ranch chicken salad and the texas mesquite chicken salad , great stuff , nice tight packages , easy prep , gonna grab some more for the next hunt , a great breakup to the pb&j's for lunch
