    2015 vs k2 exo frame

I've had the k2 now for about a month and before selling my 2015 compared them side by side. Ive hauled weight in both and can say the sifference is not huge. Pros of k2: more padding and larger straps make it feel more substantial. New frame is stout. Hips are less sore, but still a little...

best simple tarp for the money

I'm looking for a square tarp at least 8x8 thats lightweight and packs small. I've used shaped tarps but I want a square tarp for versatility. Id like plenty of web loops. It'll be used mainly as an emergency shelter, but also as rain tarp. Anyone have something theyve used and like?

    adjusting scope without shooting it.

So I sighted in my scope for a new load last week. I zerod at 100 two inches low. Turns out my ballistics were wrong and I should have gone with 1.5 high. Since my windage is perfect is it safe to assume that adjusting the scope up 3.5 would put me where I want? I dont have time to shoot again...

    New to bivying

I was given a once used or advanced bivy today and after setting it up and doing some research I'm wondering. How do you cover your gear? I hunt in western washington and it rains a lot. My pack and boots wont fit inside the bivy so what do you do? Also do I need a ground cloth? It didn't come...

    wetside Washington newbie

Hello. Kept coming across this site while googling gear. Figured i'd quit lurking. Started seriously hunting 3 years ago. Blacktail and elk mostly. Also done a fair amount of backpacking and would love to get into high country wilderness hunts.
