    Leica Geovids providing incorrect range

Is this a software or hardware issue? He was measuring a -5 angle. However that should have only been a 2-4 yd adjustment. 🤷‍♂️

    Leica Geovids providing incorrect range

Over the Christmas holiday my brother in law and I were comparing my Swaro TA's to his Leica Geovids. When ranging various objects, we were getting consistently different numbers with the delta being 16-24 yards at objects between 180 to 600 yards. Wanting to know who's optics were off, we...

    Turkey gun for Son (8)

I went with a Mossberg 835 with the six position stock. When I got it my kids were 8-14 in age and I wanted something anyone could use. I put a red dot sight on it as well. I use the reduced hevi shot loads for the kids.

    big coyotes

I shot a big male while quail hunting near a turkey farm. It was big enough that I packed it out a mile so I could weigh it. 42 lbs in central washington. I have killed several hundred and doubt I ever broke the 40 pound mark on any others.

What caliber do you like for predator/ varmint hunting?

.204 with the 32 grain vmax. My Savage was a littel finicky and didn't stabalize the 40 gr as well. Still a great performing bullet.

    What’s your state do well?

Washington gives you the opportunity to pursuse them every year without a draw system. Quality deer is few and far between, but at least we can get out.

    FNG/Lurker from Eastern WA

Hi all. Been visiting the site for around 7 or 8 years. I appreciate the shared knowledge of many hunters that explore the back country. Have been hunting Washington for 40 years with a rifle, shotgun, or bow. Peak hunting was my college years where I could just show up for test during...

Thanks everyone. I decided to go with a pair of Swaro's TA Range to eliminate a piece of kit. I appreciate all the feedback.

    NF shv or Swaro z3

x3. I feel Trijicon is underrated for regular hunting scopes. The light transmission and sharpness is fantastic.

Best binoc for glassing into the sun?

Best binoc for glassing into the sun?

I am going to upgrade my 10x42 Nikon Monarchs after 20 years. They have been great in 90% of the conditions I hunt in, however I was very frustrated this past archery early season with a poor performance when glassing into the sun. I hunt open sagebrush and scabland country and mid-morning...
