    Found some primers

Yep they will work in all three. the 6.5 calls for a magnum primer in most cases. I would use the WLR primers in the 6.5 The WLR primers tend to be a little hotter.

    Larry Willis collet die

collet die They are well made. If it serves a purpose for your reloads get one. I have one and it works as advertised. If the cases are bulged as magnum cases do. I use imperial sizing lube and work the case into the die in steps. I tried to resize a case in one stroke and the cases were...

    Howa 1500 "sticky bolt" Question

Might be from a hot chamber? LC brass is military brass and usually heavier., which will increase pressure. Neck turning is a personal choice. How clean is the neck and chamber when the sticky bolt occurs? how many times have you shot that lot of brass. Over worked brass sometimes will not...

    Redding die question

A standard full-length sizing die is machined to size a case to standard dimensions, regardless of case thickness. As far as the main body of the case goes. bushing dies size the neck .001 to .003 that eliminates the expander being pulled up through the neck in turn results in less sizing of...

    222 mag

I shoot the lighter bullet 45gr Vmax and a load of IMR3031, win small rifle primers. I have shimmed thin tapered rifle Barrells with Tape. It helped on a 243win I had. You could bed the barrel 3 to 4" in front of the receiver. Sometimes that works. I had issues with other powders I tried till...

    Pressure and Crimps

Wow, I personally would not shoot them. How many boxes do you have? If they would not take them back If only a box or two I would try to rework and salvage what I could, Did you try to chamber one? The neck looks bulged to the point that they may hangup and not cycle.

    Erratic concentricity issues

Well, I had a rifle 243AI. Lapua brass. Was using it for 1000yd bench rest. I had purchased a set of dies from Redding run out was excessive. FL and Neck dies I sent the dies to Redding along with several fired cases. About a week later they returned the dies and basically said there was...

    Erratic concentricity issues

From your description it sounds like the seater die is causing the problem. You would think there would be more pieces with poor run out. I would anneal the necks on the brass and use plenty of lube on the inside when resizing, FL resize is what I do. clean the shell holder if it has a buildup...

    Annealing

I still have the brass. I resized it several time and really could not get the bullets to hold. I did try crimping with a FCD. may have been better but I lost interest in trying to salvage it. I might try some different loads. I have a much better assortment of components to try. The rifle is a...

    Annealing

I had some 222 that was annealed dead soft, and it did not have enough neck tension to keep the bullet from moving in and out. pressures were all over the place very inconsistent.

Do I need to fire form after market brass? What do you do?

Edit: If I resize the neck and it goes over the max length I will have to trim. yes, Its unlikeable, but could happen. with me the key is consistency. I am somewhat annal. I check make sure each piece of brass has a primer hole and is clear. I full length size and check oal of the brass. If I...

What causes this and would you reuse the brass?

Like the rest it appears to be a pressure issue. Is that the only one? If there is more than one maybe several Contact Hornady they will help you .
