    Unloading a pile of gear

I bought this gear for pack-in hunts. Then unexpectedly, I was fortunate enough to be able to buy a farm (where I believe I will hunt until my death). This happened so quickly that I NEVER used ANY of this gear. It is all brand-new, never used at all (no exaggeration) and is as it was the day...

    Water advice...

New guy gearing up. About ready to pull the trigger on my water gear. Looking at the Sawyer gravity systems, and the Katadyn Pro pump as my main system. Planned to use tablets (just to make sure) and tote a Life Straw as a back up. Came to this list mostly from reading your old threads...

    WTS ***BIG*** MAN's CAMP COT

This is the most comfortable camp cot I've ever used. Bought it a year ago to use in the Kodiak Canvas tent (also listed here). Rock-solid steel frame, it's literally like sleeping in an extra-firm twin bed. It's heavy at 42#, but great for camping (where you can get there w/ a truck or boat)...

    WTS KODIAK CANVAS 10' x 10'

Used only one week, last year. Selling to help fund another purchase. Absolutely NOTHING wrong with it, hell it's not even dirty. I'm 6'5" and I can stand up and to move around. $500 new, will sell for $300 + shippping. If I can't get that I'll just hang on to it.

    Jumping in

I first heard of backpack hunting about a year ago. Being from Indiana, this is all new to me. I'm 42 and I've come to the conclusion that will never own a huge farm to hunt on. I want to learn your (collective) techniques to enable me to hunt public land in Indiana that is less pressured...
