I can't see my post

I'm new here and still figuring things out but I started a thread in the DIY forum. First problem I encountered was trying to delete a duplicate post. What are the proper steps for that? Whatever I was doing just caused another duplicate. That seemed helpful?! I have a terrible time just viewing the thread half the time. I keep getting a database error. I can view other threads no problem and I can view my thread if I am not logged in. If I log in to reply....database error. Rather frustrating. I tried on my computer, my phone, and my wife's phone. All the same. Tried using Chrome instead of IE...same. Work computer finally let me reply but now the reply doesn't even show up for me. It shows I replied so many minutes ago and shows another post in the count but it's just not there. I thought maybe it rolled onto a second page but I see no indication of that.
