I got invited on a last minute mule deer/elk hunt in Colorado for the third rifle hunt in November. I know bullets have been discussed ad nauseum on this forum, but wanted to get the Hive's opinion on my two choices.

The two guns I currently own will both get the job done I know. First option is a Winchester Model 70 Extreme Weather in 7mm-08, shooting a 120gr TTSX. My second option is a Legendary Arms Works 25-06 shooting a 110gr Accubond.

I don't plan on shooting extreme ranges obviously, but just wanted to see what people with more experience would pick between the two. My first chance at elk, two nice mule deer have fallen to the Winchester already.

Thanks!

My choice would be the 120 TTSX with 300 yards the max distance. The Accubond is a good bullet also I just believe you will get better penetration with the solid copper.
