2024 Prince William spring black bear

Time for some predator control, my first time going out and i know there out there, but the timing when's a good time to hit it, any idea's about the snow we got and some great locations.

Yes sir I am and thank you for the welcome, got a few buddies that got me into the site and I am liking it so far.

From what i understand from people i know, they dont really start getting them until may (depending on snow load). They cruise around slow looking into the coves and glassing the beaches at low tide. I also know people that will post up on the south facing slopes and glass up looking for them. Go dump some shrimp pots and glass around. You going out of whittier or valdez?

Last year there was deep snow until later in May and beyond but the bears were still out. I go in mid to late May. No one is giving locations, I hope at least.
