Spring bear near lemhi

Just throwing it out there for anything besides people who think they know everything. Looking to do some early spring bear hunting near lemhi. Eager to get out before the crowd but had a few questions some people might have the answers to. Is the snow clear around there this year? Been a pretty light winter. I figured they would definitely be below the snow lone but any specific elevation I should target? Hunting from the truck advised vs. Really hiking in there, or not worth the trouble? Appreciate feedback from people that aren't on their high horse. Also a lone hunter so if anyone wants to tag team let me know.
