Life got in the way and then spring bear was around the corner.
I ended up copper cleaning the crap out of it and got it to shoot the Federal loaded Berger Hybrid Hunters acceptably. Cut it to 17.5" and will run that with my Scythe for bear. Based on calculated speeds those will stay above 1800 FPS out to 650ish which is really further than I need.
It's still on the list for a new barrel but might just get another 270 win at the same length but faster twist and I'll just hand load it up in speed some. That or 280 AI. Really trying to not have to screw with the bolt.
