WTS AGC Scout Pack/Western W36 Knife.

Based on the pommel and guard, this looks to be a later model W36. Does it have any other letter stamp? This would help identify it further. The patina indicates it may be a high carbon 1095ish blade.

Markings shown are all I can find. If I had to guess, probably late 80’s to very early 90’s.

Did some sleuthing, and it's likely a 90s blade based on the pommel, guard, and lack of a letter stamp. They started stamping the W36 in '77 with an "A" and each year afterwards went down the alphabet. When Western was bought by Camillus, they changed a few things including removing the brass guard and changing the pommel. Still a very functional knife, and if it has the original 1095 HC steel, it should be hold a durable razor edge and be easy to sharpen.
