anyone here run the small kifaru box stove with the sawtooth?

Has it worked well? Do you wish you had the medium or larger cylinder stove? Just curious.

I don’t see a small box stove on their website. But I have the 18” lite outdoors for my sawtooth and it’ll cook you out of there. Wouldn’t want a smaller stove just for the fact you have to feed it a lot more than the larger ones. And you have to cut your fuel much smaller.

I ran the small stove in my supertarp it simply was too small to keep going for any duration. For the minimal weight penalty imo always best to think bigger on the stove your looking at longer burn and larger wood to keep the fire burning versus continuously stoking the fire.
