Artic oven 12 vs arktika extreme

Currently have a nunatak and love it but was thinking I really will only be truck camping the next couple of years...considering trading this in for somthing with an awning

Thoughts on the 6 sides vs 12 square ? Esp in high winds ?

I’m not sure they have been making the Arctica for a while, which may solve your dilemma. I see they are on the website however.

I run an AO igloo, so not an experienced opinion, but I think either should do fine when properly guyed out.

A square area is more efficient for sleeping arrangements etc. Just like Cabelas dome tents, I think there is wasted space with 6-8 sides.

Elkangle, did you end up getting an Arctic or AO 12? I’m comparing between the two as well.
