Athlon Cronus G2 spotter drop test

During the Nightforce Challenge my new G2 Cronus spotter was blown over in a wind gust.

This snapped the eyepiece. Ryan Avery was there to see it and add validity to the involuntary test.

I was able to use the scope for the rest of the match with the busted eyepiece.

Sent it into them and had a new one in about two and a half weeks.

Good customer service, wish it was built a bit more durable.

How does the spotter compare to others prior to the breakage? Glad they fixed you up, interested to see if this becomes a thing with athlons.

I have this one because of a defective gen 1. I’d say the glass is a little better, but the eye box is tighter.
