Was listening to a recent episode of The Southern Outdoorsmen Podcast (best hunting pod IMO for the southern hunter) and the guest said that he hunted in baseball cleats up here in the N. GA mountains. He said they were very lightweight and helped him (obviously) with traction when hiking up, down, and along these ridges and hollers. Anyone else ever try it? And if so, what were the results?
I might have to dig mine out of storage and give it a try because ive taken some spills before up here trying to descend a leaf covered slope lol... cant imagine they would be super comfortable with much pack weight or on the rocks tho....
