Sitka Ascent gloves work best for me. I can use my wise choice release and feel my anchor great with them on.

I have always used merino liners or cheap ones that develop holes after 1 season and get tossed. I too need to find a better solution. Early hunts in Idaho don't really require any for me but the late season sure does.

Sitka Fanatic gloves are awesome!

I hear of guys wearing latex gloves under a light type glove in cold weather, have not tried it yet.

I've been impressed with the Smartwool gloves. I can use my phone, they are thin, and they keep my hands quite warm. $40 at REI.... I tend not to archery hunt with gloves on but these were outstanding during our -10 degree weather this week.
