Black bears move out when grizzlies move in?

I was able to bait for bears for the first time this year, I had some black bears hitting regularly until some grizzlies moved in. Black bears were hitting in may and grizzlies in June after which I pulled my barrel and stopped replenishing where I baited on the ground. Could that possibly be a trend I should consider when hunting next year since I only planned on hunting in June to try and catch rutting boars?

2rocky would be correct.
All depends on the bears coming into site and the surrounding area.

If the area is dense with vegetation and the black bears feel they can escape before attacked they will stay around. One site I has black bears and grizzlies tag teaming the site. I mean after 5 minutes the other type would be in the site eating away. This was a very dense thick site. We made a bunch of noise setting up ladder stand (bait already out for 2 weeks) we left 1 person in stand and drove wheelers out and when my buddy was walking up to stand a black bear was trying to get into his pack under the stand.

On most of the stands I have seen once the big grizzlies come in the black bears stop unless there is a lot of black bears hitting site. I have seen 3 blacks chase off a medium size griz.
