New-in box-Blaser Primus 8x42 binoculars. Made in Germany, Abbe-Koenig roof prisms. I bought 2 sets but my wife wants a set of Swarovski EL 8x32 so I am selling the pair I bought for her. They have never been outside.

The Blaser I bought for me (exact same model) I compared with my Meostars and a loaner set of Swaro ELs. These Blaser 8x42 are brighter than both the Meostars and the ELs in low light, probably because of the Abbe-Koenig prisms. In daylight the ELs still have a little better resolution and edges. The Blasers resolve about the same as my Meostars but since they are brighter it is easier to see details so the resolution might be a little better. Excellent focus, better focus than the ELs and the SLCs. About the same smoothness as the Meostar focus but much faster. These are incredible low light binos, I compared them with my Meostar 8x56 after dark and while the 8x56 lets in a little more light it was really close, almost so much that I might sell the 8x56. Even though the are not lightweight, they feel very balanced in hand and have lots of eye relief/placement. 424 feet/1000 yards nice wide view.

$1500 TYD in the lower 48.

Bump, these is incredible glass. I know Blaser doesn't get a lot of coverage in the US in part because I think they were asking too much for $2500 but I like them better than anything less than the EL and Zeiss HT.

I am selling this brand new pair I got my wife. I have the same bino and would not trade them for SLCs, Ultravids HDs, etc. They are that good, I use it a lot more than my 7x42 Meostars now due to the better balance of the Blaser and I can hold it and focus using only 1 hand. Super wide FOV and very bright image.

$1150 TYD in lower 48.
